In my works, I attempt to question the preception of body, media and cultural images through the concept of “disintegrated body” in a society that promotes idealialized/artificial models of womanhood.
I use different materials and focus on concepts of beauty imposed on women and their bodies and I'm trying to reflects in my works the effects of the psychological and physiological changes caused by the alienation of woman as a separate identity in todays society. I do use cutting, gluing and sewing in order to emphasize how women’s bodies are subjected to a series of sculpting, reforming and adornment due to societal conditioning.
